RUNTO said that in the second half of the year, the overseas market began to weaken, with shipments declining by 2%, but the good news is that the C-suite demand in the Chinese market showed strong momentum, especially stimulated by the “Black Myth: Goku” and the national subsidy policy, the demand for gaming surged by 41%, which drove the overall Chinese monitor market to grow by 13%. In the face of this, the global market ultimately recorded a 0.6% year-on-year increase in the second half of the year, a slightly weaker growth rate than in the first half of the year.
Entering 2025, RUNTO believes that the global monitor market will show new vitality due to the wide application of new display technologies such as high refresh rate, Mini LED, OLED, and regional stimulus policies. It is predicted that the global monitor shipments in 2025 will still maintain a stable growth trend, reaching 129 million units, up by about 2.0%.
