Recently, BOE held an exploration event and TV display technology appreciation session themed "Seek·Origin" for its 10.5th-generation LCD production line in Wuhan. The World's Highest-Generation LCD Panel Production Base

Located on Lingonggang Avenue in Dongxihu District, Wuhan, BOE's Wuhan factory cost 46 billion yuan to build, covers a total area of 1,132 mu (about the size of the Forbidden City), and has a total gross floor area of 1.44 million square meters (equivalent to five Bird's Nest stadiums). However, the number of employees is small, and the entire factory area is quiet, with almost no one visible except at the entrance and visitor hall. Guests had to wear special dust-proof shoe covers from the moment they entered the factory hall.

During the production line tour, staff explained that BOE's Wuhan factory represents the current highest-generation level globally, capable of producing large-size, high-resolution LCD panels ranging from 32 inches to 75 inches, with the flexibility to adjust production for smaller or larger panels as needed. The factory achieves full-process digital management and control from raw materials to finished products, as well as a highly flexible production model. The production line employs advanced automation equipment and high-precision detection technology, ensuring exceptional product quality and efficient production efficiency. Guests observed the automated production process from raw materials to finished products from an overhead perspective, with no manual intervention required.

BOE's marketing director stated that the factory's high cost means the use of more advanced machinery and equipment, thereby enabling the production of higher-quality LCD panels. BOE is at the forefront of the domestic high-end display industry. It is reported that a considerable portion of domestic LCD panel production lines cost between 20 billion and 30 billion yuan.

Furthermore, Su Shunkang, Vice President of BOE Technology Group and General Manager of Wuhan BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., emphasized that as a pioneer and leader in the domestic display industry, BOE has achieved industry leadership in market size, shipments, technology, and applications. Simultaneously, BOE has made significant achievements in environmental protection, with its products achieving better display effects at lower power consumption, effectively reducing users' electricity consumption and achieving low-carbon environmental protection goals.

The highlight of the event was BOE's detailed introduction of ADS Pro technology. This technology is an upgrade to traditional LCD panel technology, significantly enhancing panel quality without changing existing production lines. It is a high-end LCD display technology with independent intellectual property rights.

ADS Pro technology, with its advantages such as high ambient light contrast, full-view angle without color shift, and ultra-high refresh rate, has become a key breakthrough for large-screen display product innovation. Compared to OLED panel technology from Japan and South Korea, ADS Pro performs even better in some areas while being priced significantly lower than OLED of the same size, providing excellent performance and stable supply for high-end LCD products.

In terms of high ambient light contrast, ADS Pro technology significantly reduces the light reflectivity of the display screen surface through various anti-reflection technologies such as pixel structure optimization, new material development, and surface treatment, achieving higher ambient light contrast under normal environmental illumination. This technology allows the TV screen to maintain excellent picture quality in bright environments, allowing consumers to ignore ambient light interference. In particular, UB Cell technology, as an upgraded version of ADS Pro, offers ambient light contrast far superior to market flagship models, achieving a milestone breakthrough in LCD display quality comparable to OLED.
