BOE's 6th generation new semiconductor display device production line project Section A passed acceptance

On December 26, China Construction First Engineering Bureau announced that the A section of the Beijing BOE 6th generation new semiconductor display device production line project undertaken by it has recently passed the completion acceptance.
It is understood that in October 2022, BOE issued an announcement stating that its holding subsidiary Beijing BOE Chuangyuan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Chuangyuan Technology) intends to invest in the construction of the 6th generation new semiconductor display device production line project using LTPO technology in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, focusing on the layout of the VR display product market, further enriching the company's product structure, and consolidating the company's leading position in the semiconductor display industry. The project covers an area of about 630 acres and a total construction area of 608,924 square meters. It mainly produces high-end display products such as VR display panels and MiniLED direct display backplanes. The production line mainly produces 1850mm×1500mm substrates with a designed production capacity of 50,000 pieces/month, which is compatible with LTPO LCD technology and LTPS LCD technology. The project started in February 2023 and is expected to be put into production in early 2025. Qichacha shows that the shareholders of the project's main company, Chuangyuan Technology, are BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Beijing Yitong Zhixian Industrial Investment Management Center (Limited Partnership), holding 79.3103% and 20.6897% of the shares respectively.
